EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Krista Knight-Paisley joined PayBack, Inc. as Executive Director in November 2025, bringing a deep commitment to restorative justice, community engagement, and organizational excellence.

 

Krista leads PayBack through a pivotal period of expansion and renewal, focusing on optimizing operations, deepening donor networks and court relationships, and building sustainable, measurable programs that serve individuals navigating juvenile court-related obligations. Her approach is grounded in data-driven impact, collaborative leadership, and growth priorities, ensuring PayBack can deliver meaningful support to the communities it serves.

Before joining PayBack, Krista held leadership and civic roles in law firms and nonprofit organizations, where she developed expertise in program development and organizational transformation. She is recognized for building strong partnerships, fostering high-performing teams, and executing strategic initiatives.

Krista holds an MBA from Washington University and is currently studying legislative policy at Georgetown University. She has made years-long contributions to the St. Louis community through roles with Court Appointed Special Advocates, GED instruction for adult learners, and youth coaching, reflecting her commitment to meeting people where they are. Together, these experiences prepare her to lead PayBack’s next chapter with steadfast discipline and dedication to our community.
